As such, the nurses appear to be dissing the direct-entry midwives in the same way that the MDs are dissing the doctor of nursing programs. Nevermind, also, that where midwifery and homebirth is well-integrated into birth practices, the safety and health outcomes are far better than typical OB care in the US.
